The Appointment Request Form on our Contact Us page is a request for service and does not reserve or confirm an appointment date or time. It is not an instant booking system. The date and time selections provided are your preferred availability and help us determine scheduling options.


Submitting a request does not guarantee availability on the requested date. Before confirming an appointment, RV Wings Mobile Services, LLC reviews the service details, RV location, estimated time required to complete the service, technician availability, travel schedule, and other factors.


After reviewing your request, we will contact you to provide an estimate for your approval, discuss availability, and confirm an appointment date and time once costs are approved.


During peak service seasons, our schedule is often booked approximately two or more weeks in advance due to demand and route planning. We encourage customers to submit service requests as early as possible so we can review the details and provide the earliest available scheduling options.


Yes. A customer or authorized representative who is 18 years or older should be available at the completion of service to review the work performed, receive any applicable documentation, and complete payment before the technician leaves.


If you are unable to be present, please contact RV Wings Mobile Services, LLC in advance to discuss options. In some situations, we may not be able to complete or finalize service without a customer or authorized representative available to review the work and complete payment.


We accept cash, check, and all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover). When paying through client hub, clients can also choose to pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay. 


A Full Name and Billing Address is required before service is performed, regardless of the payment method chosen.


Full payment is due on-site once our technician has completed service; some jobs may require an up-front deposit fee, and we will alert you to this at time of booking (i.e., solar installs, major component replacements, and custom order replacement parts). 


We charge a minimum service call fee that includes up to 1hr of Diagnostics / Labor. After our 1hr minimum service call fee, we bill in 15-minute increments at our hourly labor rate. This mobile service call fee is only charged on your first repair visit, if multiple visits are required to complete your service. Each service call has a minimum 1-hr charge, but even if we finish the job in 15 minutes, we'll stay with you for the hour to address any other issues or questions you might have!


We also bill a one-way per mile mileage fee, based on the shortest driving distance from our base in Salem, Ohio to your RV's location. If your problem requires multiple scheduled service calls, we will bill multiple mileage fees, but we don’t bill multiple mileage fees if the onus is on us.


Small shop supplies and parts are billed separately.


Our standard service hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We do not currently offer emergency after-hours services and are closed on weekends. We are also closed for most holidays and occasionally for other scheduled closures. All closures will be posted on our website’s Main Page, Contact Us page, and Google Business Profile.


RV Wings Mobile Services, LLC can perform RV warranty-related repairs and RV manufacturer recall work when applicable. Customers are responsible for payment of all service and parts costs at the time of job completion unless RV Wings Mobile Services, LLC has specifically agreed in advance to work directly with the RV warranty company or RV manufacturer for payment.


If the customer is responsible for payment, it is the customer's responsibility to seek reimbursement directly from the RV warranty company or RV manufacturer and provide any required documentation.


Any decision to bill, communicate, or coordinate payment directly with an RV warranty company or RV manufacturer is at the sole discretion of RV Wings Mobile Services, LLC and may depend on the specific warranty provider, repair, approval process, and other circumstances.


If RV Wings Mobile Services, LLC works directly with an RV warranty company or manufacturer for payment, the customer remains responsible for any portion of the invoice that is not paid, denied, or otherwise not covered by the warranty company or manufacturer.


Coverage terms vary by RV warranty providers and RV manufacturers, and some coverage may only include a portion of a service call, diagnostic fees, labor, travel charges, parts, or other related costs. It is the customer's responsibility to understand what is and is not covered by their RV warranty, manufacturer coverage, or recall program before requesting service.


If pre-approval is required by an RV warranty company or manufacturer before repairs can begin, it is the customer's responsibility to obtain that approval and provide any required documentation or instructions before the start of service.


If an RV Technician Report is required for warranty reimbursement or manufacturer approval, please notify us before service begins and provide any required measurement, documentation, or reporting requirements from the warranty company or manufacturer. After completion of service, additional time may be needed for our technician to complete the RV Technician Report and provide it to the customer.


We service RVs that are 20 years old or newer. Due to limited parts availability, manufacturer obsolescence, increased structural and system deterioration, and liability concerns associated with aging units, we are unable to service RVs older than 20 years. This policy applies to all units without exception.


We travel with a curated selection of common RV replacement parts for electrical and plumbing repairs. Due to the large variety of system make and models and us being a 100% mobile service, we are not able to stock specialized items such as control boards, slide and awning motors, regulators, appliance replacement parts, full appliances, etc. on our service truck. 


If parts can be sourced locally from our RV parts dealers and are in-stock, we will travel to pickup the parts and complete your service call same day. In cases of specialized or major RV part replacements not in-stock, we would need to order parts and arrange a follow-up appointment. 


Yes, we can install parts you’ve purchased, as well as warranty or recall replacement parts you’ve received. If you have everything needed to fix your RV, just let us know the parts you have and we'll be happy to use them, provided they are the correct ones for the job.


No, we do not recharge RV air conditioners. Most rooftop RV AC units are hermetically sealed systems, meaning they are not designed to be opened or serviced like residential or automotive AC systems. They do not include service ports, and refrigerant cannot typically be added. If refrigerant is low, it usually indicates a leak — but since these systems are sealed, the leak can’t be pinpointed or repaired in the traditional sense.


Instead, our diagnostics focus on common external issues such as electrical problems (like faulty capacitors or control boards), airflow restrictions (such as dirty coils or filters), or thermostat malfunctions. These are often repairable and don’t require opening the unit.


We also want customers to know the following before scheduling a service call:

  • We do not open or modify sealed units or install service ports, as this is not recommended by manufacturers and may void warranties or cause further damage.
  • Replacement may be necessary if the issue is internal — like a failed compressor or refrigerant leak. In such cases, we can guide you through replacement options.
  • Power must be available at the time of service. Please make sure your RV is connected to shore power or generator power so we can run the AC system under normal operating conditions.


We're happy to diagnose your unit and help you understand your options, whether that means a repair or a full replacement. Feel free to contact us with any questions or to schedule a diagnostic visit.


Since we are 100% Mobile and do not have a shop allowing us to tackle large projects, there are some aspects of your RV we do not service. Additionally, we are not insured to perform work that needs to be done by a certified automotive shop and we are not insured to tow, transport, or assist you with hitching up your RV.


We do NOT service:

  • RVs Older Than 20 Years
  • RV Roofs with Integrity Issues – For any services requiring our Technician to access your RV's roof, our Technician will complete a basic visual inspection of the roof for safety before accessing the roof. If soft spots or damage are present that would jeopardize the safety of our Technician and the structural integrity of your RV, we will not be able to service your RV further. Mileage fee would be charged to compensate for the trip. Additionally, all services requiring our Technician to access your RV's roof are weather permitting.
  • Structural/Carpentry/Welding RV Repairs – RV Roof Replacement [we do handle patching holes that are a golf ball size or smaller], RV Side Wall Delamination or Damage, RV Structural Damage, RV Water Damage, RV Full Slide Replacement or Any Issue Requiring Slide-Box Removal, RV Cabinetry, RV Flooring, RV Frame, RV Glass/Window, RV Fiberglass, RV Furniture, or General Bodywork, etc.
  • Automotive/Towing System RV Repairs – Axles, Bearings, Brakes, Tires, Wheels, Suspension, Leafsprings, Equalizers, Hitches, Tow Bars, Pin-boxes, Tow/Toad-Vehicle Brake Controllers, etc.
  • Motorhome Chassis/Cab RV Repairs – Motorized RV Drivetrain, Motor Engine, Chassis Battery Wiring, Transmission, Dash Controls, Dash/Automotive Air Conditioning System, On-Board Navigation System, On-Board Camera System, etc.
  • Large Appliance Installation/Replacements – RV Washers, RV Dryers, and Residential Refrigerators [we do handle install and repairs for RV Refrigerators].
  • Residential Appliance Repairs
  • RV Satellite & Wineguard System Installation and Repairs
  • RV Roof Coating (Rubber Coating)
  • RV Wash, Detailing, Polishing, Buffing, Waxing, Coating, Painting, etc.
  • RV Black & Gray Tank Cleaning (Hydro-Jet)
  • RV Towing, Transport, & Hitching Services
  • RV Generator Diagnostics – We do not offer diagnostic or repair services at this time. We only provide annual maintenance. If your generator requires troubleshooting or major repairs—especially work that involves removing the unit from the bay—you’ll need a full-service repair shop.


For items we do not service, we recommend seeking a RV Service Center, brick-and-mortar location RV Certified Service Technician, Certified Automotive Mechanic, or Certified Trailer Shop for service, depending on your need.


No. We do not have a repair shop as we are a 100% Mobile RV Service. We bring excellent service to your location!


Check out local camping opportunities within an hour’s drive of our home base — we can work with you to schedule a date where we can meet you for service, while you are staying at one of these campgrounds. Please confirm with the campground that we can do the service during your stay when booking with them — some large repairs, such as awnings, may not be acceptable to be completed within some of these RV parks.

While we can service RV system components on boats, it depends on the boat’s setup if we can commit to servicing. Not all boats are created equal when it comes to service area space and configuration, and might be better suited for a Marina Repair Shop.
